What’s Ahead for Dexter Season 6

One television series that continues to be loved by both fans and critics alike season after season is Showtime’s Dexter. The show finished airing Dexter Season 5 in December and is gearing up to begin production on the upcoming Dexter Season 6 very soon.

When we last saw Dexter he was coming to terms with the death of his wife Rita (Julie Benz), and the fact that his star pupil Lumen (Julia Stiles) no longer feels the need to kill.

Meanwhile, his sister Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) has come one step closer to finding out her brother’s shocking secret. Now, with Rita’s children coming back to live with Dexter for the summer, fans can’t wait to find out what will happen next.

We recently had a chance to catch up with the actor who plays Dexter, Michael C. Hall while he was out promoting his new independent film Peep World, which opens in theaters on March 25th and also stars Sarah Silverman, and Rainn Wilson.

What does Hall have to say about the upcoming Dexter Season 6?

“Not until May but it’s definitely happening.”

We finished up by asking Michael C. Hall if he is excited to return to work on the series and revisit the character again.

“Yeah I’m excited. Doing something for this long is a crazy proposition but with this at least it continues to evolve.”
