Dexter follows Travis through a farmer’s market and gets a call from Deb that Sam’s been shot. Dexter heads to Sam’s garage because the motorcar heads towards the hospital, and he starts speculative whether or not he caused this to happen since he killed Julio many episodes back.
As he analyzes the crime scene, he starts yearning for clues regarding the opposite guy he hit and finds a blood match for Leo Hernandez. Dexter goes to seek out Leo, however Detective Anderson intercedes and winds up shooting Leo to guard himself. Later, Dexter reviews the tape, sees the watch dog isn’t barking, and is aware of that Nick (the man Sam baptized) is the killer! Travis and Gellar are operating to kill their ‘whore’ and Travis asks to relinquish her pain killers to assist her broken arm.
