Dexter meets Glee, let the musical mashups begin!

I did not see this one coming! Though most of my own TV show preferences are of the dramatic type , I love Glee! I really hope this happens, how fun!

‘Dexter’: Michael C. Hall open to ‘Glee,’ ‘performs ‘Christmas Carol’ (video)

When you are appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, more often than with other shows you have to be prepared to bust out a few notes. Dexter star Michael C. Hall was just that, and during the interview with Jimmy (which you can see to the left) he was asked to sing one of his character’s favorite Christmas carols.

With that in mind, he started to bust out a rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” that may be the creepest version of a Christmas carol in the history of Christmas caroling. He changed a few lines to give it that serial killer feel, but even with the normal ones there was a tinge of anguish there as the award-winning actor sang along. He then later claimed he would look at being on Glee if he was ever asked, as he does have a musical background.

Golden Globe nods for Dexter’s Michael C Hall and Julia Stiles

A big congratulations goes out to Michael C Hall, Julia Stiles and the Dexter show itself for the announced Golden Globe nominations.

Michael was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series.

Julia’s nomination is for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

A third nomination was handed down for Dexter in the Best Television Series – Drama, category. Here’s hoping for triple wins!

The Golden Globe Awards will air Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 5pm PST on NBC.
